New e-Learning Course Available

We are pleased to announce a new SCORM compliant e-Learning course on Sexual Orientation in the Workplace is now available.

The training module is ideal for organisations who want to up-skill their workforce on sexual orientation issues without the logistical issues of running training in-house and the expense of external training courses.

The interactive course includes high quality video stories based on real-life workplace discrimination scenarios along with quizzes to check knowledge and reinforce understanding.

The e-Learning course is aimed at all employees and is suitable for staff, teams and managers who have little or no knowledge of the topic. There are more advanced sections that will help managers understand their responsibilities in detail.

The topics covered include:

  • A basic introduction including terminology and the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010
  • Different kinds of direct and in-direct discrimination
  • Exploring the damage caused by making assumptions about another person and stereotyping
  • The manager’s responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 legislation
  • How to support fellow LGB colleagues and developing an action plan from lessons learned

This valuable training tool is available on a flexible subscription basis or to purchase outright. We will customise the resources section of the training course to provide links and documentation specifically relevant to your organisation.
